Russells Ltd has donated £2,000 to charity this Christmas.
The firm has once again donated to a number of charities in lieu of sending Christmas cards to clients, sub-contractors and suppliers.
Russells Construction has increased its charity pot once again, to £2,000, and donated £500 to each of four charities nominated by members of staff, many of whom have done their own fundraising for these causes over recent years.
The beneficiaries are the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Help for Heroes, Breast Cancer Now and Springhill Hospice in Rochdale.
Co-founder Andrew Russell said: “We have a strong charity ethos at Russells, with members of staff raising money throughout the year for a variety of causes close to their hearts. Making a corporate donation in lieu of cards has become an annual tradition, and something we’re proud to continue. All of these charities do amazing work for people in our local community and we want to recognise their efforts with a small gift this festive season.”
